Angela Mokoena achieved double admission as an attorney and conveyancer on 14 March 2025 after being the only candidate to pass Paper 1 of the conveyancing exam in Limpopo and achieving the highest mark for Paper 2 in the province during the September 2024 session. She ranked among the top candidates in the country.
For this achievement, she placed first in the conveyancing exam category at our recent Awards Ceremony.

On facing challenges while studying for the LPC's conveyancing practice exam
"Balancing family, work, and studies was a huge challenge. I wasn’t able to be as present a wife and mother as I usually am because most of my time was dedicated to studying. I also sacrificed learning litigation during my articles to focus entirely on conveyancing. Additionally, I suffered a personal loss when my uncle, who was like a father to me, passed away a month before the exams. I almost didn’t write the exams but chose to push through."
A final word
"I told myself from the start that I would be the exception to the rule—I would pass both exams the first time. You need to affirm yourself daily and believe that you will be counted among those who pass. Your mindset is half the battle."
