We recently hosted our second annual virtual Gawie le Roux Institute of Law Awards Ceremony to celebrate the success of those of you who passed an LPC exam in
the first semester of 2022.
Upskilling is the name of the game and winners walked away with Gawie le Roux vouchers that can be spent on any of our courses, workshops, and webinars.

Here are some of the top achievers around the country who entered.
"I wrote the Conveyancing Exam in April 2022. This was my first time attempting this exam. I've heard the horror stories regarding the pass rate and it terrified me.
I attended the Gawie Le Roux course 2021, and all I can say is that I'm a Conveyancer today because of that Conveyancing course. I had over 2 years conveyancing experience, but the knowledge required to write the exam was provided by Gawie Le Roux. The quality of their notes and method of presenting the course material is unmatched. It was simple to understand and if I felt lost at any time, the friendly staff and course presenters were ever ready to assist me. Gawie Le Roux gave me the courage and confidence to write this exam, due to the quality of their course material. I passed the April 2022 exam on my first try with the highest results in the country.

Having already completed an Advanced Trial Advocacy Training Programme, I also received my Right of Appearance in the High Court in September 2022. Since starting articles in 2020 at N.R Voyiatzakis Attorneys, in Pretoria North, where I practise as an attorney to date, I have developed an immense passion for litigation and being on the inside of the various courtrooms that I have been exposed to."

"As an Admitted Attorney and litigator, Mediator, and Conveyancer, the only void that I had to be able to truly assist my clients with their needs, was to be admitted as a Notary. It felt like a mountain, and it did not help that many Attorneys told me that they had already attempted and failed the exams a number of times. Others told me that they wrote a million years ago and would not pass it if they had to rewrite today. As with the Conveyancing exams, I purchased the Gawie Le Roux notes, put my head down and started studying. The Notary notes are wonderful but to be honest it is a lot of information to process and remember. I sacrificed all spare time to study and for 4 months I was a slave between running my own practice and studying for the Notary’s exam. Being a sole practitioner since 2005, a mother and a wife, I often wished that I started studying earlier. I attended the GLR online Notary course and the pre-examination preparation course hoping that some of Erinda’s magic would rub off on me. Notwithstanding the fact that I would have been content to just pass the exam, somehow some of that magic and the wonderful way in which the material was presented assisted not only in ensuring that I passed the exam but also achieving an exceptionally high mark. I am humbled by the professionalism, kindness, passion, expertise, and knowledge for not only the Notary work but the Law in general that the whole Gawie Le Roux team possesses. They truly motivate and set a high standard to follow. I want to thank the whole GLR team for my achievement of passing on my first attempt and obtaining this qualification cum laude."

"I completed my LLB degree at Stellenbosch University and thereafter started my articles as a candidate legal practitioner at De Klerk & Van Gend Inc, Claremont, Cape Town. I’ve had significant exposure to court practice through various litigation matters and intend exploring this avenue of the law further. Gawie Le Roux was a great platform to expand my knowledge and skill set and I’m so grateful to have done the preparation classes for the March 2022 board exams. I will be admitted as an attorney early next year and look forward to doing more courses in family law and mediation, commercial law, and conveyancing."
