About Lesedi
Lesedi obtained the highest marks for the conveyancing examination in Mpumalanga during the first session in 2023. She is currently an Attorney at Annemarie Swanepoel Attorneys.
Background
"I currently hold a Bachelor of Laws Degree with admission as an Attorney."
Motivation for enrolling for Gawie le Roux's Course in conveyancing
"I enrolled for the course because I wanted access to a comprehensive set of study material which did not only contain all the information that I needed to prepare for the exams but was also easy to understand. I was also advised by people who had already written the conveyancing exam that this course was the best to attend should I want to write the exam and pass on my first attempt.
The course was key in helping me prepare for the exam. The notes are very comprehensive and cover the theory part of the exam, the drafting part and also contains examples as well past questions and answers. I only used the notes and study material that I received in the course to prepare for the exam and was able to pass the exam on my first sitting."
Lesedi's study tips
"I would say that the best thing that one can do to prepare for the exam is to start studying as early as possible because while the notes are aimed at making the work a lot easier to understand, there is a considerable amount of work that has to be covered for the actual examination. So start early, give yourself enough time to study and practice as much as possible.
A minimum of 5 months should be given to prepare for the exam for someone who is employed full time."
What's next
"I plan on enrolling for the Course in notarial practice next."
