"I matriculated in 1992. I studied fashion design and worked in the IT industry before embarking on a career in law.
"I am currently a final year candidate attorney at Wessels & Vorster Inc, a small dynamic firm specialising in civil and criminal litigation as well as estates and debt collection. I am awaiting my admission date from Court Online. My application for admission as an attorney and notary was recently issued."

Do I need to register to write the notarial exam?
You need to register on the LPC's website here. The website will ask you to select your province, and you will be redirected to the registration form.
Are there deadlines for registration?
Fatima Haffajee obtained the highest mark nationally for the notarial exam during the September 2024 sitting. She is a practicing attorney and conveyancer at Bodasing & Co. where she also completed her practical vocational training contract.
